Terms of use

Last updated 04/11/2026

These terms apply when you use TableRight, which is run by David Maxwell (“we”). By using it, you agree to them. If you're buying as a consumer, nothing here affects your legal rights.

Your account

You can do Tier 1 of every course without an account. An account saves your progress and is needed for exams, certificates and paid plans. Keep access to your email address safe: signing in works by emailed link. One account is for one person.

Plans and payments

Prices are shown on the pricing page. Payments are taken by Stripe. If we change the price of a subscription, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

Refunds

If you're not happy, ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, by emailing [email protected]. After that, payments aren't refunded, but cancelling stops the next one.

Exams and certificates

Exams are marked by our server. A certificate shows that the person holding the account passed that exam, and anyone with its verification link can check it. Certificates are valid for two years. Exams must be your own work: sharing questions or answers, or sitting an exam for someone else, can lead to the certificate being withdrawn and the account closed.

Fair use

Please don't copy our lessons or exercises to publish elsewhere, scrape the site with automated tools, try to get around the locks on paid content, or do anything that disrupts the service for others. The Brightwell Supplies data is invented for teaching: you may use what you write with it for your own learning and portfolio.

The service

We work hard to keep TableRight running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or improve courses over time. If we ever stop offering a paid plan, we'll refund any period you've paid for but can't use.

Liability

We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the past 12 months. Nothing limits our liability for anything the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we can.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. Contact us first at [email protected]: most problems are quicker to sort out that way.
