Short names for tables
Writing products.name and suppliers.country gets long. Give each table a short alias after
its name, then use it everywhere:
SELECT p.name AS product, s.name AS supplier
FROM products p
JOIN suppliers s ON s.id = p.supplier_id
WHERE s.country = 'Poland'p and s only exist inside this query. Aliasing the columns too (AS product, AS supplier)
saves a reader from wondering which name is which.
You can filter on either table's columns, as WHERE s.country does here.
